Doesn’t apply here, pero ang cute eh!
Today is officially the last day of summer (at last…)
Super panalong Korean noodles, just add hot water. Para sa mga may sipon o gustong mahulasan.
During the first weeks after being engaged, I was meaning to blog about all the wedding preps to share with everyone, just because I knew that it will be a DIY wedding. I imagined all the how-to’s and telling the episodes bit by bit, church, reception, dress preps and all. But as the weeks progressed, I realized that planning is such a tiring thing to do, and I guess you’ll never fully understand the range of details you have to pin down unless you’re actually going to be married yourself, especially if you want to have everything in-theme. So imagine having an internal debate with yourself every time you get to browse all these wonderful wedding websites. You’ll also find out that browsing is both a blessing and a curse because it can inspire you and confuse you at the same time (idea overload)!
So with that I have also found myself panicking when being asked about our wedding details and where we are in terms of preparation. I do not want to be rude and say, “basta, inaayos na namin”, nor I don’t want to look like I’m not doing anything by saying “wala pa, hindi pa namin alam”, but sometimes hindi nyo pa talaga alam. I mean, you can’t expect every bride and groom to have things ironed out especially when the wedding is more than eight months away. I envy couples who already know what they want (are there any?) and just implement their wedding (wedding planning - buying - implementation hahaha). But I know, minsan nagtatanong lang naman mga tao at naaagit naman ako agad! Haha! So I say sorry to all my friends and colleagues whom I may have shown my fangs when asked about the wedding. I promise I’ll try to be more calm. Hehehe. Pero it’s quite a consolation when I read this blog and realized there are harsher brides than myself! Haha!
Will still keep you posted! ;)
Today’s lunch: Tuna Pasta Salad
Whole wheat penne, corn kernels, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, tuna chunks in vegetable oil. Season to taste. You can add a dressing if you want, but for me oil from the tuna already adds flavor.
